Corrosion Specialist – Lawrenceville, PA

National Fuel has an immediate, full-time opening for a Corrosion Specialist in our Field department at our Jackson Compressor Station. Candidates must be available to work:

Monday - Friday 8am – 430pm

This shift could also include after-hours, call outs, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Applicants must live within a 25 – mile radius of the Jackson Compressor Station located at 3438 Buckwheat Hollow Road, Lawrenceville PA 16929, or be willing to relocate.


  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license
  • Requires excellent communication, customer service and mechanical ability. 

Corrosion Specialists are responsible for:

  • Cathodic protection, installation and testing of corrosion control systems
  • Maintain and make minor repairs to corrosion testing and pipeline locating equipment
  • Measuring pipe to soil potential at test points, current and potential on bonds, voltage and amperage output on rectifiers


This is a position within the Company’s collective bargaining unit with a starting hourly rate of pay of $32.89, 6 months $34.76, and 1 year $35.76.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT mandated drug test, as well as participate in random drug testing. The DOT maintains a list of banned substances which includes medicinal or recreational marijuana.
