Permanent Part Time Media Specialist

Permanent Part-Time Media Specialist position $22.43 - $23.81 hourly (29 Hours per week). Successful completion of Civil Service Examination is required and applicants must meet all requirements set forth in the Employees Civil Service Ordinance. Pre-employment background investigation and substance abuse testing is required.

The Media Specialist writes scripts, operates cameras, audio and lighting equipment, as well as edits programs to conclusion, which includes development of graphics and special effects. Learns the functions of Media Services technology, including television studio and “head-end” equipment, playback server, daily schedule and message board applications. Also, performs the following duties: keys in timely announcements on the township message board system, including emergency messaging pertinent to the safety and well-being of local residents; handles cable subscriber inquires and refers customers to proper provider sources
for resolution. Assists with interns and volunteers.
